Hey Guys!
Just a little post of my little haul! But that's still top secret... just waiting for a package to get here then the giveaway can begin!
So onto the haul...

The Cosmetics Company Store MAC Mini Haul!

Hey Guys!

It took me a little while to remember that there's a Cosmetics Company Store at Gunwarf Quays in Portsmouth! And seeming I travel from Portsmouth harbour a lot I thought I'd go and have a mooch on the way home from my boyfriend's last week. Oh happy Days... I was like a child in a discount sweet shop! I limited myself to a £50 limit and, I'm proud to say I stuck to it! Very unlike me...
I only got 3 things, but it was only my first visit ;)

Happy Endings...

Hello blogging world! Wow this is weird, I haven't done it in so long! I don't want to bore you with why I haven't blogged in ages but I basically lost all motivation and people brought me down. However, It's a new year and I have beautiful people in my life that make me smile and give me the encouragement I need to pursue my love of makeup! I feel like a very lucky girl!

Seeming I haven't done a makeup look in so long for you guys, I thought I'd start the year with one! I haven't really done them recently because I haven't had a decent camera but my wonderful boyfriend has kindly lent me his! Isn't he a sweetie...

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the pictures! I'm so fussy when it comes to lighting etc that it's nice I can relax so much with a camera! Please Click on the pics for a better look! They look amazing, I hate how they come up so small on here!

I've fallen in love with an OPI nail polish called Rally Pretty Pink, which is a gorgeous pinky, purple shimmer with a golden duo chrome, I would of uploaded a picture of it but it's a bitch to photograph so apologies! Anyway, my look is basically based on that polish, which I thought might be a cool idea for a makeup series? Corresponding makeup to your favourite nail polish... what do you guys think? (that's if anyone reads this! If you're like me, you just look at the pictures!)

The shadows are all a bit of a mix really. I started with Urban Decay PP, NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk and then patted on the purple shade from the Sleek Idivine Acid palette all over my eyelid and blended it out with MUA's shade 18. To draw attention to the centre of my eye I used Highness from Sleeks Ultra Matts V2 palette in the outer and inner corners of my eye and also lightly in the crease and blended out on my lower lash line. This alone looks amazing, but I love a bit of sparkle so I added UD's Half Baked to the centre of my eyelid and slightly blended it out. To Finish off I used Pillow Talk from Sleek's V2 palette as a brow highlight, UD's Perversion eyeliner pencil and Mac's black lash Push Lash mascara.

I didn't really know what to do with my lips so I went GOLD! I started with Natural Nymph from ELF, then applied a clear lipgloss and patted on Urban Decay's Half Baked eyeshadow. Finally I added Fairy Cake lipgloss from Butter London and lips are done. PS: WEIRD uploading a photo of my lips. I hate them!

And that is that! Look done :) I forgot how much I LOVE playing around with makeup and trying new things! I've recently bought loads from Urban Decay (fallen in love <3 again!) and can't wait to try out the Glinda Palette!

I think I'm gonna do a quick post from my phone at some time, just to show you all the looks I've done and stuck on instagram (soo lazy) because I really loved some of them! But I'm definitely going to start photographing them properly for you guys!

I hope you like it and can't wait to do another look! Please let me know what you think by writing a comment below :)

Love as always! x

Enchanted...

Hi guys! I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's :) I got absolutely spoilt by my boyfriend! Was a lovely day, what did everyone else get up to?

Here's some more pictures from our shoot the other day :D I hope you guys like it!

The colours I used were a bit of a mix... Mainly from my NYX 78 eyeshadow palettes... however the yellow and green were from the Sleek Acid palette. Eyelashes are by Eyelure No. 107 I think?! I went to buy the new katy perry ones and the had all sold out?! WTF. I live on the isle of wight... this sort of stuff doesn't happen! THAT or they just haven't stocked them yet.... either way there was none there!
Lips are a mix of Barry M in 52 and Lime Crime's Airborne Unicorn :)

Hope you guys like it :) Leave me a comment :)

Valentine's makeup take 2...

Hello lovelies! How is everyone? Looking forward to Valentines?...

I recently got the 6 in 1 on the go palette by ELF and have been playing around with it trying out different looks! This is my most recent and the one I've been wearing the most!

I'm in love with it! It's a sultry, smokey purple eye with a good load of contouring and soft nude lips. I did do it with a creamy pink lip too which looked lush as well!

Right basically, I can't chose a favourite photo so you're getting them all! Click on any image to enlarge

First off with a nude lip, I went for a mix of Natural Nymph and Nostalgic by ELF and OPI tease-y does it lip gloss (clear jelly with gold micro glitter)

Up close it doesn't look like my does it? It's just a very ombre-styled purple smokey eye! Very simple winged eyeliner, nothing fancy.

REALLY can't keep a straight face! haha And seeming I used to always add a stupid face at the end, I thought I'd throw it in ;)
Same eyes, new lips. A really gorgeous Pink! Made using Lime Crime Airborne Unicorn, Fearless by ELF and Natural Nymph. Totally addicted to making my own lip colours!!

This was the next day, I did the same eyes but changed the lips up again and added an apricot tint! I love orange and purple together! It rocked! I made this colour with Barry M's 53, Captivating by ELF and Natural Nymph (again) also by ELF.

PS, How cute is my horse/lace top!! £6 from Primark! AND I bought myself a new charger so WOHOO! I have a camera again!

Love & Peace xx

Blink+Go Brights Palette!

In last month's Glossybox I received this lovely looking Blink+Go Colour Tones Eyeshadow and Blush palette, and I know a lot of people who received it didn't like it very much because the bright colours scared them!
Unlike most people, I love it! The colours are super soft and super pigmented! This is what the website says about it...

'Make your eye colour pop. This vibrant colour palette contains six catwalk-inspired shades (includes pink, blue, lilac, green, gold and a cream highlighter) a range of high-fashion colours that give an immaculate finish and enable you to create a look as subtle or dramatic as you dare. Mix and match the soft pastel peach and apricot blush for your own unique finish.'
The only thing I don't like about the palette, is because they're all such bright colours you can't really get a whole look out of it! You have to be able to get your hands on some other eye shadows to make a real 'eye-popping' look!

Here's a quick swatch of all the colours :) They have a satin finish and are super soft! I was really impressed with the pigmentation of these! Specially the Green, yellow and white! I can't work out which is my favourite colour though! I do love the green... It's like no other colour I've got!

With flash.
I have to admit, I am stunned by the blush! Neither of them are colours I would have ever chosen, but they have quickly become my go-to colours! Mixed together they are beaut!

They have a slightly chalky finish to them, and the light pink/peach has a touch of shimmer to it, whereas the Apricot is matte.

Without flash.
I swatched the eye shadows with no base (right) and using my NYX jumbo pencil in Milk on the left.
You can tell the difference! I seriously don't know how I lived so long without it in my life!!! Its fantastic! By the end of the year I wouldn't be surprised if I had one in every colour...

Please excuse the quality of the pictures!
Still can't find my camera charger...

These are just a couple of looks I've done using the palette! This is my 'Winter Bunny' look! Lots of bright, pastel colours! For this i used all the colours apart from green and yellow.

For my mascara, I use Mac's Zoom Lash Black Lash, eyebrows - Stila brow set in Warm.

For people who aren't as adventurous! Use the colour of your choice and mix with a little mixing solution or water to create a gorgeous bright eyeliner! Apply using an angled brush for solid colour and sharp lines!

Very quick and easy to do! Kept my eyeshadow simple, just a natural smokey eye :)

but for the very adventurous...

Team it up with some bright purple lippy (airborne unicorn, Lime Crime) and some purple eyebrows!
Do you like my trout pout?

If you got this palette in your Glossybox, what did you think of it?
You can purchase this palette from the Blink+Go website for £14.95 :)

Lime Crime Love...

Hey guys! I hope everyone had a lovely NYE! I'll post some pictures of mine in a later post :) I've been so slack with posts lately because I've been MEGA busy! Whilst everyone's had a lovely relaxing Christmas I've been working! Your sympathy please... haha

Anyway this is just a post on a wonderful new products that I'm totally in love with!

It was about 2am the day after pay day and the money was already burning a hole in my pocket! So what else do you do? You buy purple lipstick! Obviously...

This here is the gorgeous creature itself. It's my first purchase from Lime Crime and I certainly wasn't disappointed! I checked out the reviews online and it was pretty much half and half/ Love and Hate.
I picked up Airborne Unicorn for £11.50 which is this gorgeous bright purple colour! When I first put it on it was a 'WOAHH' moment for sure! But the more you wear it, the more you get used to it!

Picture quality sucks I know. But it's payday on Friday so hopefully I'll get myself a new camera!! This is how the lippy looks on anyway... It's super pigmented and really creamy! I have played around with it a bit, and if you apply a translucent powder over the top it easily goes matte and lasts forever.

And because I can't take a normal picture of myself, here...

I seriously am in LOVE with Lime Crime! I already have my eye on some of their carousel lip glosses and their eye primer! Every review I've seen has said how amazing it is! The only negative I've found is the price! It's pretty pricey however at spacenk.co.uk Lime Crime is currently on sale! You can pick up a lipstick for £7.50 which I will definitely be doing! I just don't know what colour to go for next...

See my problem? They're all so gorgeous! If you were wondering, Airborne Unicorn is the one above the black :)

Candy Cane Eyes!

Hey Guys!! It's less than two weeks till Christmas! Anyone else excited?
I'm working over Christmas and we're allowed to dress up at work so I wanted to do something OTT makeup wise! I'm thinking of going as an Elf so I've gone for candy cane eyes! (because Elf's love sugar ;) )

I'm soo upset that I can't find my camera charger!! I'm going to have to buy a new one because I'm finding it hard to live without!! failing that... I might buy a new camera! The Nikon 1 looks pretty cool...

To create this looks I used my NYX 78 shadow palette, along with red and white MUA eyeliners.
I started off by lining where I wanted my cut crease with a black eyeliners, and then created the candy cane look on my eyeliner with eyeliner, and then went over the top with the co-ordinating eyeshadow colours.
For the crease I went in with a light green first, and then went over it with Mac's woodsmoke and NYX black eyeshadow.
My mascara, as always is Mac's zoom black lash mascara :)

I'm a complete idiot and forgot to put any products on my face! I don't even have foundation on! So out of the photos I took, this was the best one I could find!

On my lips is Elf's Fearless Lipstick. It's such a gorgeous creamy red!

hope you guys like my look :) please leave me a comment!

Coming to an E.L.F near you...

Hi guys! Hope every one's having a good week, mine's going amazingly so far! I got chosen by E.L.F to review their new lipsticks and I'm so excited!! They came today so I got stuck in straight away to bring you my review ASAP :)

So, here is goes....

Theses little beauties are the wonderful new colours! In order they are (L-R) Charming, Nostalgic, Captivating, Flirtatious, Sociable & Fearless.

Without Flash
With Flash (look how gorgeous Sociable is!)
I think what I was most surprised with about these lipsticks is how pigmented they all are! And I mean, ALL of them. With darker lipsticks, like Fearless, it's often the case that they don't come out the colour they look but oh boy, they do! Also, because its so cold out at the moment, my lips aren't in great condition so I was a little worried about putting them on, because I've got a cremesheen from Mac and it makes my lips look 10x worse! However, it wasn't even noticeable with these beauts! They're soo creamy and moisturising that they glide on for instant perfection!

For £1.50, I really don't see how you can go wrong and I'm finding it soo hard to chose a favourite! I love nude lips when I'm doing really dramatic eyes so Nostalgic is fantastic for that, Captivating is a gorgeous orange which is perfect for autumn, Flirtatious is going to be my go-to colour for everyday and Fearless certainly has the WOW factor!
To give you a clue to how they look on, here's some pics :)

First up, Charming - a matte, dusty rose colour. Near enough my natural lip colour so brilliant if you don't like to over-do it on the lips. It still gives off a lovely glossy finish and is moisturising so doing you good too!

Nostalgic - a gorgeous nude which would look great with dramatic, smokey eyes. A good reference for it would be E.L.F's natural nymph; it's a shade darker and whereas that one has a very matte finish, Nostalgic has a glossy finish.

Captivating - a gorgeous warm orange, perfect for autumn days! Looks great with brown eyes. don't be put off by the colour in the tube because it looks soo pretty on! Dare to be different! I've been wearing orange shades for weeks now and all I've got is compliments!

(It's like I'm Zoolander and I only have one look! haha) This one is called Flirtatious - It's such a pretty pink! Not so daring that it's noticable a mile off, but bright enough to make your lips to die for! I wore this out and the first thing my friend said when I saw her was "I love your lips!" *A very popular colour for celebs this time of year! check out Fearne Cotton, she seems to be wearing it all the time!
Sociable - the only one of the new colours with some shimmer to it! Personally I usually go for matte colours and add a shimmery gloss if wanted; however, this has pinky goldy flecks of shimmer and is so creamy and glossy already you'd never need a lipgloss again! Definitely a lipstick worthy of a night out on the town.

Last but not least, Fearless! And you have to be fearless to wear it! OH MY GOD, if you've ever wanted a pillar box red lippy, look no further! This is the only one you'll ever need! I want to upload every photo I took of me wearing it because it's so eye catching and stunning! All I need is a black wig and I'm Snow White! "...lips as red as blood..." Bingo!

I was hoping there would be a colour that I didn't like, or there'd be something wrong with it so I can tell you guys and it wouldn't make me look like I was saying how amazing it was just because I got sent them. But to be completely honest, I can't find a thing I don't like about them! If I was going to be really picky then I'd say that I'd prefer the tube to be black, not silver - but then it would look like it was from their studio line! So I really can't complain!

They are all priced seperately as £1.50 each and should be available to buy by the end of the week! E.L.F has just done a 40% off sale and are constantly being super lovely and giving Elfette's free P&P or free gifts so I'd definitely go check out their site :) It's http://www.eyeslipsface.co.uk/
