Christmas is just around the corner and being as sad as I am, I've done some funky ass nails! They're lil' Christmas Puddings and I'm in love with them!
I've done them on false nails because I'm not allowed to wear nail varnish to work! BOO!
Tools needed: large and small dotting tool. (I cheat and use different size pins and toothpicks!)
you could also use rhinestones for the holly, optional.
Nail varnishes I used: OPI Alpin Snow, OPI Tease-y does it, Barry M 115, No7 Devil's Delight, the green is a franken I did myself :), Maybelline salon manicure top coat.
This little beaut should be the outcome :D sadly I've lost my camera charger so shuddy pics, sorry!
First off I did a white base coat using OPI Alpine Snow, then a coat of barry m, just to get a nice solid base colour.
Then, either 1 or 2 coats of OPI Tease-y does it. I think it's my Favourite ever nail polish! It's soo gorgeous! It's just so many colours in one! Brown, red, gold, purple.... just gorgeous!
Nice clean table eh? Once it's all dry, grab a large dotting tool and the white again, and make uneven dots all joined in a line, so it looks like drips! Then join it all up at the top. :) Simples
This really is the only tricky bit! Use a small dotting tool, toothpick, whatever to create three small red berrys top-centre of the nail. Then, the holly! I hated doing this bit! I cheated and used an old pair of tweezers! the slanted edge was the perfect shape for the holly leaves, I didn't want to do into too much detail with them because I would have ruined them probably!
Alternatively, you could used rhinestones which looks super cute too!
And then you're near enough done! I left mine for a day and then added a top coat, I didn't want to do all that work and then smudge it! Just make sure they're mega dry before you add yours!
Broken down into steps this look is really easy to do! Please give it and go and post your looks!
Hope every ones getting in the christmassy mood!
Love & Peace x

Nail Varnish Frenzy!
Recently I've been addicted to buying nail varnish which SUCKS seeming I'm not allowed to wear it to work! Genuinely thought about quiting! Haha! Only for about a split second before I realized I actually NEED the money. Make-up is an expensive addiction...
So these are the nail varnishes I've collected out on my shopping trips in the last 3 weeks...
My first collection... recently we had a TK Maxx open up on the isle of wight which i am THRILLED about! I keep finding amazing things like Pixi, Stila, O.P.I, Tigi, Pop, Benefit.... the list goes on! I picked up the gorgeous Pixi polish (no.15, a bright bright bright pink/purple!) for only £2.99! It is by far my current favourite polish! It's such a statement colour!
My sister Minxed my a while back and i had a 20% off voucher for New Look so i used it on the Nail Rock nail wraps (basically minx). Never Again. They would of been amazing if someone else did them, but I don't have the patience for things like this... I love nail wraps because you can get gorgeous effects like holographic or mirrored effect wraps and they last weeks on toe nails so I'd definitely say it's worth the money but get a professional to do it!
The BYS polish caught my eye merely for the fact that it's UV, and it certainly is! It cost £2 from StoreTwentyOne and comes in about 7 colours... love it!
The greeny coloured one is a cheapy glow in the dark varnish and is not worth being in the photo, it's shockingly bad. Texture like glue and does not glow!
The Maybelline Salon Manicure Varnish is the best clear/top coat varnish I have ever had! It's sooo shiny! I adore this! I used it over my pastel polka manicure and had it on for a week without any chips! <3 <3 <3
This is the second load, a bit more interesting!
No.7 have been giving out £5 vouchers lately, note why I have 3 more of their polishes! In order they are: Devils Delight, Salsa & Vivid Violet. I haven't used the last 2, I might give them as Christmas presents because they're soo pretty, But Devils Delight is the perfect pillar box red!
The next two I bought for the mere fact that I didn't own a gold nail polish! The first is Collection 2000 in Shimmy Shake and is a clear varnish with fairy dust like particles of gold. It is sooo sparkly and looks gorgeous over black! The next is by 17 in Fury and is a metallic bronze/gold which looks amazing on!
I'd be very suprised if anyone reading this doesn't already know the Revlon polish but just incase, It's Facets of Fuchsia and it is AH-MAZE-ING. I had to hunt around for this polish, it was sold out everywhere and I can totally see why! It's a black gel based varnish with 2 sizes of glitter, one facet shaped and the colour, obviously is fuchsia. Layered and Matted this varnish looks fantastic and is to die for!
Now on to my beautiful O.P.I's.... The first I found hidden at the back of a shelf in Tk Maxx in a set with a lipgloss for £6.99! Bargain! It's from the Burlesque Collection, called Tease-y Does It and is my autumn colour!
And finally, my own and only O.P.I shatter which my sister picked up in NY for $4! It's in Turquoise and I want the colour soo bad as a normal polish! as much as I love shatter, you can't do a lot with it but it's freeking awesome!
I have recently bought another, but it's soo nice that it deserves a post just on it's own...
Sorry for boring you with a heck of a lot of writting!

NOTW
I have been so slack with posts lately! Sorry! Life's been pretty hectic; got myself a new job, passed my driving theory, started my new job... a little mad but wonderful at the same time :)
So, because I've been so slack I'm doing a Nails of the Week post... just the nails I've had over the past week basically :)
I absolutely love this!! I found hidden at the back of a shelf in TK Maxx, a O.P.I set of a nail varnish and lip gloss, and this was the colour. It's from the Burlesque collection and it's Tease-y Does It. It's such a gorgeous colour! In different kinds of light it looks red, purple, brown, black... it's just amazing! For the Gold Gradient, I used 'Shimmy Shake' from Collection 2000.
The next one i did was Pastel Polkas. I wanted something a bit more dulled down, but still me! This look was really easy and fun to do, and would work with basically every colour going. I've used OPI's Alpine Snow, Teal from ELF and the pastel green is by Barry M... but i can't remember the name!
I bought a new top coat from Maybelline, salon professional extra shine blah... something, which i used on this and I have NO chippage what so ever! It fantastic! And the shine was soo pretty too! Would really recommend it!
I did have a go with my Halloween nails but then my lack of patience kicked in and i gave up! The pumpkin was just too much for me and i didn't like the others! Weren't as good as when I first did it so they came straight off! A shame really....
...so I went for something a little simpler! I got this gorgeous bright purple/pink from TK Maxx, it's from the brand Pixi in No.15 and i'm in love with it! It's not like a colour i've ever seen before! I got it for £2.99 and on the website it's £10! BARGAIN! For the black i've just used my Wah nail art pen and then filled it in with a black polish from Star Gazer.
This look could be used for so much over Halloween, I thought it was a pretty safe option!
Hope you like them, let me know what you think :) I'll do a post on my new polishes soon, I've bought so many in the past few week I think they deserve a mention!
Love & Peace xx

E.L.F's Teal Nail Varnish
This has got to be my current favourite nail colour! It's soo pretty! And I got it for 75p!!! (ELF's 50% off discount)
It does take about 3 coats to get a good cover but it's totally worth it and so long lasting! The bottles are quite a big size, It doesn't say on the bottle and I threw the box it came in away but I'd say it was about 10ml, so the same as Barry M polishes.
It's a gorgeous green colour that looks lovely just on it's own like this, but also is fantastic for using in marble nail art. It dries quick on the nail but in water it doesn't dry as quick so you still have time to do some cool patterns.
After a few days of having it just as it is, I went over the top with the Matte nail finisher from ELF which makes it look even better!! I am hooked on this stuff! I apply it over all my nail varnish just to see what it looks like and I always love it!
This is it with the Matte finisher on over the top, it basically takes away any shine or glossy finish. I also stamped on a few pretty white flowers which looks really cute :) I did this using my Konad Stamps, which are fantastic!
I realised that I hadn't done a nail art post in a while so I thought I better! I have another one ready to upload as well :) Will most likely do it later today.

Konad Nail Stamps!
I first saw Konad Nail Stamping when Xsparkage reviewed it on YouTube and ever since I've wanted one! Why it took me so long to get it I don't know!
I bought this last week and I've tried it out a couple of times but still haven't completely got the hang of it, just messing about and seeing what I can do with it at the moment really.
I bought this last week and I've tried it out a couple of times but still haven't completely got the hang of it, just messing about and seeing what I can do with it at the moment really.
I bought mine off Amazon but It's available from ebay and obviously their own site too. This set cost me £16 and it's totally worth it! The nail varnishes smell a lot like tippex (not a bad thing) and they're a lot thicker than a normal varnish and dry super quick! But still wait a little while before you put on a top coat in case it smudges!
This is my second attempt...
I haven't cleaned it up in this picture (obviously) and it was only my second time using the stamps so it's not great! The only thing that's a little bit tricky is trying to get the stamp in the right place, I think it's going to take a little practise!
I can't wait to do some more looks with the stamps! I already have my eye on some new plates and varnishes...

Blue Smokey Eye
This to me is my 'John Smith' look. I got my inspiration for the colours from Pocahontas. John Smith's uniform was mainly greys and blues so I used those colours to create this look.
I used a eyeshadow duo in Star Light from color trend, Avon and my Sleek Storm Palette, using the grey and dark blue. Also from the Acid Palette by Sleek I used a little of the blue's just to make it a little brighter.
I decided that I didn't think it was blue enough so I added blue kohl eyeliner just under the outer half of my eye, totally made this look, I love it!
And because I seem to take so many of them, here's my stupid face!

Iron Man Nail Art!
I know it's a bad photo, it's because it was taken on my phone! I uploaded my spiderman nails to facebook and a friend then asked me to do an iron man design!
Well here it is...
It's pretty awesome but it isn't great! First attempt and all!
If anyone wants me to do a design then just let me know and i'll see what I can do :)

Spiderman nail art
I really wanted to paint my nails but I couldn't decided what I wanted to do, so on facebook I put my status as 'want to paint my nails but don't know what to do' and some-one said, what about spiderman!
HOW DID I NOT ALREADY THINK OF THIS?!?!
I LOVE SPIDERMAN! He is my favourite superhero by far! And I didn't even think of it! I googled spiderman nail art and had a look at what some other people have done. This is mine:
I LOVE THEM! Still deciding if i want to put eyes on all of them or not....Might just leave them like this!
Whilst I'm writing this i'm actually waiting for my other hand to dry, still in the middle of painting them! haha!
All you in to do this is a bright, rich red nail varnish (i'm using Bourjois 1 seconde in 7) a black nail art pen (mines models own) a well pigmented white ( mines OPI Alpine Snow) and a top coat of your choice.
If you changed the colours to black/blue, silver and white you would be able to do an awesome Venom look aswell! I would have done it but my silver nail art pen is drying out so isn't very good!
Hope you like the look of it, I love spiderman!

Nail Art
I bought the new nail art pen/brush from Model's Own and I can't stop using it! It's so much fun! I haven't used the pen bit yet, which is basically like a dotting tool, but i have been using the brush. It's a lot thinner and longer than a normal brush which is perfect for making designs.
I'll upload a few photos, some might be bad quality if i've taken it on my phone, Sorry!
I've also been playing around with my shatter varnishes, trying to see if there's anything I can do with them that looks kind of cool and so far all I've come up with is this!
I thought it looked quite cute :) a 'shattered heart'. The only other thing i've done is, i've done a rainbow base and then put shatter over the top. Very easy and looked really good!
hope you like some of the designs :) leave me a comment if you do, much appreciated!

A few things i picked up in town...
I went into town last week with my sister and couldn't resist picking up a few new things to try.
I got Models Own nail art pen which is AMAZING! Been using it ever since i got it and it's soo much fun! Also i made some dotting tools (have no money at the moment!) and they are amazing! All you need to make some are a couple of pencils with rubbers on the end and different size pins! There's loads of tutorials and things online showing you how to make them, definitely check it out if you're into nail art :)
I've also been looking for a bright pink lipstick and found the perfect one from Barry M! Seriously, it's like barbie on steriods! It's crazy bright and will definitely be wearing it in some tutorials coming up!
And last, I really want to get my skin looking flawless so i've picked up some face masks to try out. I got 4 which i'll try out over the course of about 2 weeks and they all say they do different things like deep pore cleansing, smothen the skin out and so on, so I will post a review on them once i've finished. So far I'm half way through! So will probably post something in about a week and a half.
That's it, once i've done some nail art i'm proud of, i'll upload some pictures and will do some more makeup looks soon :)

My Current Favourites...
I haven't done one of these before but it looks kind of fun. Basically just a collection of things I'm loving at the moment and the things i use the most :)
1. The Acid i-divine palette by Sleek.
I was watching a tutorial by xsparkage and she used this palette, she then said it was from the uk. I had to get it! And i am so pleased i did! The neon colours are amazing for doing some really cool tutorials but also the other colours are so well pigmented! I use this palette almost every day and it still doesn't look like I've used it! At £6.49 it's a bargain!
2. Barry M nail paint in Lemon Ice Cream.
This colour is perfect for summer! Everyone seems to be going yellow this season and i jumped on the wagon and got this. It isn't overly bright, it's quite a pastel colour actually which is really nice. It means you can wear it on it's own and it looks very femenine or you can team it with a more mustard colour varnish and make it really stand out. Barry M colours are also really good for marbling, they don't dry out too quickly and the colour holds really well.
3. MUA - make-up academy.
I can't remember where i heard about this company but i did and I'm very glad about it! apart from their professional range, every item is £1!!! Amazing? I think so.
It's available from superdrugs but not all of them, so i had to order it online. I didn't want to spend more than £10 and P&P was £3, but it still meant i'd get 7 items!
The photos on superdrugs website, for some of the items, weren't very true to life so I'd definitely check out of reviews to see the products a bit better!
4. Posietint from Benefit.
I got this and the benetint as freebies from a magazine (went to every newsagents to find them!) and i'm so glad i got them! Posie tint is defintely my favourite though! Tints can usually feel quite dry however this one didn't which i was very happy about and the colour is gorgeous!!! It's such a bright girly pink! Totally in love with it!
5. Bronzing stack from Ruby and Millie
Boots online has a 75% off sale on all Ruby and Millie items so i thought I'd get my hands on a few things. To be completely honest i didn't like any of the other products i got apart from this!
It's 3 little palettes which all stack up on top of each other which is really cute. On top is a cream highlighter and contour colour which are both lovely, on the bottom is a flat bronzing brush and in the middle is the bronzer. I've never really been a fan of bronzer but for some reason i really like this one! It doesn't make me look like i've been tangoed and it just makes you look like you've got a natural sunkissed look.
6. Storm i-divine palette by Sleek.
Last but not least, is my other palette from Sleek.
I ordered this along with my acid palette on a bit of a whim and i'm so glad i did. I use it every day! All the colours are totally gorgeous to be honest, they all go well together! You can get so many looks just from this palette, for £6.49 it is soo worth it!
As soon as i put some money in the bank i'm going to be getting their latest palette which is curacao. The colours in it looks stunning and so bright! The only thing that miffs me a little is that they put a black in them all! Apart from that, I can't complain! I LOVE SLEEK!

As soon as i put some money in the bank i'm going to be getting their latest palette which is curacao. The colours in it looks stunning and so bright! The only thing that miffs me a little is that they put a black in them all! Apart from that, I can't complain! I LOVE SLEEK!

Marble Nails!
Okay, well i was on youtube trying to find a tutorial that shows me how to make a rainbow effect on my nail, because i thought it would look pretty awesome under the black instant nail effects varnish by Barry M and i came across something called Marble Nail Art. I was amazed!
It looked pretty simple to do and so i gave it a go and ever since i've been trying out different patterns on my nails! Now i have only just started doing it so I'm not very good but i thought I'd show you my efforts!
I do still need to do some cleaning up but i thought I'd show you guys asap! I used different colour bases and just experimented with loads of different brands. The brands i thought worked the best were Max Factor, Barry M and also Fearn Cotton's nail varnishes.
Everyone has to try this! It's such an easy way of getting such a cool look! Just go onto youtube and type in Marble Nail Art and you'll find loads of tutorials! If you can it would be awesome if you showed me some of your results! (will probably turn out better than mine!)
