Halloween ideas!

Hey guys! I am soo excited that I'll be spending Hallowe'en in America this year!! I love Hallowe'en so I thought I might do a few Hallowe'en inspired looks! I've done a few practise runs so thought I'd show you a few things that will be coming up on my blog!

Red ombre lips! Perfect for Evil Queens or Vampires!

Werewolf! Obviously I would block out my brow but it's such a pain in the ass I only half attempted it! Some wolf-like contact lenses would be awesome with this look! I'm too scared to use them!

Pixie/ Fairy Look! Minus some awesome colorful lashes, bright eyeliner and glitter! And My Evil Queen/ Vampire look!

My Evil Queen / Vampire Inspired eye makeup! My favourite! I can't wait to do this one properly with some super intense raven-esque eyelashes!

 

So that's just a few of my ideas! I'll start doing them properly and hopefully get some blog posts out soon! I'm so excited for Hallowe'en! What are people going to be dressing up as?

Makeup Looks that didn't make the cut...

Hey everyone, I haven't done any recent looks as I've had a cold the last couple of days but I'm looking forward to getting back into it! I've got lots of ideas!

Disney Series: Sully - Monsters University!

Hey guys! Sorry I've been MIA for a while! I've been staying with my boyfriend and although I've brought my laptop with me (with the intention to blog) we've been so busy that I haven't even had time to turn it on! I've missed it so much!
But better late than never! I've had this look to post since before the film came out, so it's a tad late but I love Sully so much, I have to show you guys! And I'm completely in love with the Katy Perry Color Pop for Eylure Lashes! So here's the look!

Hey guys,
I really wanted to come home from work tonight and write another post but my track pad still isn't working, and my body needs to sleep! I've got a day off tomorrow though, wohoo! So fingers crossed I'll get a couple put out then!

Disney Series: Sugar Rush Land from Wreck-It Ralph!

Hellooo lovely people!
I finally have another look ready, wohoo! And lots more in mind that I can't wait to get started on!

I got so excited when Wreck-It Ralph came out on dvd, it's by far one of the best movies Disney has released in ages! I love it! It came out just at the right time too, lined up perfectly with Sleek's Candy Collection! A Sugar Rush look just had to be done!

Disney Series: Shere Khan from The Jungle Book!

Hey Guys, Here's another look from my Disney Collection!
I love doing this collection, it's really nice always finding ideas on what to do and getting inspiration. Whenever I go to sit down at my makeup table, if  I don't have a clear picture in my head of what I want to do, It usually goes horribly wrong!

This looked is based off the tiger from The Jungle Book, Shere Khan. I used to love watching this film as a kid but I haven't seen it in years! This was actually the second look I did from the Disney Series but I didn't like it! I've since redone it and simplified, which is sometimes so much more effective than over complicating things

Disney Series: Mater from Cars!

Hey guys! Sorry it's been so long since I've posted a makeup look! Life gets hectic sometimes, but I've got a few new looks ready to post in the next few days! And here's the latest! Mater!

This one was requested by my boyfriend! I've made him a little Disney crazy lately, my bad! But I love it! His favourite is Cars so he gave me the idea to do Mater!

Disney Series: Kevin from UP!

Hey Guys!
I'm enjoying doing this Disney Series so so much! I love everything about Disney so to be able to recreate some of my favourite characters for me, is amazing! I hope you like the latest addition to the series - Kevin (the bird) from Up! I kept thinking about who I could do next, but nothing was really coming to me until my boyfriend reminded me of Up! As soon as I thought of Kevin I knew exactly what I wanted to do!

Disney Series: MALEFICENT!

Here's my latest look from the Disney Series, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty! The Idea came from the beautiful and talented Meredith from Pigments & Palettes!

I'm going to upload about 101 photos of this look, sorry! I took it in different light, and in all of them it looks so so gorgeous! This is still quite a wearable look, if you like bold colours :)

Hello blogging world! Wow this is weird, I haven't done it in so long! I don't want to bore you with why I haven't blogged in ages but I basically lost all motivation and people brought me down. However, It's a new year and I have beautiful people in my life that make me smile and give me the encouragement I need to pursue my love of makeup! I feel like a very lucky girl!

Seeming I haven't done a makeup look in so long for you guys, I thought I'd start the year with one! I haven't really done them recently because I haven't had a decent camera but my wonderful boyfriend has kindly lent me his! Isn't he a sweetie...

I couldn't be happier with the quality of the pictures! I'm so fussy when it comes to lighting etc that it's nice I can relax so much with a camera! Please Click on the pics for a better look! They look amazing, I hate how they come up so small on here!

 



I've fallen in love with an OPI nail polish called Rally Pretty Pink, which is a gorgeous pinky, purple shimmer with a golden duo chrome, I would of uploaded a picture of it but it's a bitch to photograph so apologies! Anyway, my look is basically based on that polish, which I thought might be a cool idea for a makeup series? Corresponding makeup to your favourite nail polish... what do you guys think? (that's if anyone reads this! If you're like me, you just look at the pictures!)

 

 

 

 

The shadows are all a bit of a mix really. I started with Urban Decay PP, NYX jumbo eye pencil in Milk and then patted on the purple shade from the Sleek Idivine Acid palette all over my eyelid and blended it out with MUA's shade 18. To draw attention to the centre of my eye I used Highness from Sleeks Ultra Matts V2 palette in the outer and inner corners of my eye and also lightly in the crease and blended out on my lower lash line. This alone looks amazing, but I love a bit of sparkle so I added UD's Half Baked to the centre of my eyelid and slightly blended it out. To Finish off I used Pillow Talk from Sleek's V2 palette as a brow highlight, UD's Perversion eyeliner pencil and Mac's black lash Push Lash mascara.

I didn't really know what to do with my lips so I went GOLD! I started with Natural Nymph from ELF, then applied a clear lipgloss and patted on Urban Decay's Half Baked eyeshadow. Finally I added Fairy Cake lipgloss from Butter London and lips are done. PS: WEIRD uploading a photo of my lips. I hate them!

 

 



And that is that! Look done :) I forgot how much I LOVE playing around with makeup and trying new things! I've recently bought loads from Urban Decay (fallen in love <3 again!) and can't wait to try out the Glinda Palette!

I think I'm gonna do a quick post from my phone at some time, just to show you all the looks I've done and stuck on instagram (soo lazy) because I really loved some of them! But I'm definitely going to start photographing them properly for you guys!

Anti-Valentines....

For any Valentine's Haters... here you go...

A very different look for me... not something I would ever wear out! A bit dark... but so gorgeous! And how simple can you get? 2 colours? Awesome. Another look using my ELF 6 in 1 on the go palette (or whatever it's called...) And I'm pretty excited about ELF bringing out a huge palette to hold them all in! DESPERATELY NEEDED!!!! I've managed to smash one of the eyeshadows already ¬_¬ Pissed off with myself to the max.

The colours in the palette's are insane! Some are so gorgeous and remind me a lot of the Nars eyeshadows.

I have my camera back but it still sucks... couldn't get a very good photo... sorry about that! Will be getting a new camera in the next few months... probably mid march? fingers crossed!

I was looking into doing a new series but now I'm not so sure... This would have been one of the looks! I was going to do a Vampire Diaries Series, and this beaut would have been my Damon... *dreamy blue eyes...* but yeah, I'm not so sure now! Really want to do a series >< will have to have a think :D

Any ideas on a series I could do? Would love some ideas!!!

Opps!

I am such a bad blogger! I've gotten addicted to the world of Beautylish and totally forgot about my blog! I can't remember what I've posted where and have gotten all confuzzled 0_0

Well, I've got a few looks to show you guys! It's been a while since I've done a look! There's one I missed out on showing you also, it was my skeleton for Hallowe'en! Nevermind... I'll post a pick anyway and also some pics of looks with some new products :D

AND hopefully another X-Men look too! I've done a few but I'm just not happy with any of them.

Maybe not in that order.... and I've bought sooooo much stuff! Ahh I can't wait to show you :)

X-Men Series...Mystique

I know, Mystique isn't actually an x-men, but she's in the series, so I did her! She's an awesome character and when you've got a person who's blue, you kind of have to do a makeup look for her!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I'm currently really ill! And I did do a look for Storm but I'm not loving it, so I'm currently oohing and ahhing whether or not to upload it!

but anyway....

My Mystique look is a very simple one, can definitely be worn out (to the right places!) but not exactly what I'd call 'daytime'. My look is based around her colours; blue, red & yellow (from her eyes) and I also tried to keep the colours in propotion as much as I could.

My Urban Decay Liquid Liner in Gash was the PERFECT colour for her hair!!! It was my main inspiration for doing this look! I didn't apply any eyelashes because sometimes they just look a bit 'too much'. The more I wore this look, the more I loved it! But I was very disappointed with the pigmentation of my blue eyeshadows from my Collection 2000 POP palette, so I also used my Sleek palette which is such a God send, my acid and storm palettes at the moment seem to have every colour I need in them! Definitely going to have to get their other palettes...

I haven't worn make-up in so long that It was a nice change to do a quick little look. Instantly made me feel better! The yellow on the inner half of my lower lash line was a nice soft colour, for me it was defintely enough, not too bold! But I do want to invest in some eyeshadows with INSANE pigmentation, so if anyone has any suggestions, then please let me know!

X-Men Series...Wolverine

Wolverine... The only thing that comes to my mind is the wonderful Hugh Jackman... ahhh That, and yellow and black. He really has to be the most well known character out of them all and it's clear to see why, he certainly has a presence whenever he walks in a room!

My look was based mainly from his mask in the comic books...

Obviously, my look isn't going to be O-T-T so I just did a lightly contoured, yellow lid, with big black eyeliner and some very dramatic lashes!

I know the second photo is an odd one but you can really see the eyeliner in it! I loved this look! It's soo dramatic and sultry!

I completely forgot that I had an eyeliner pen! I could have really made the points of the eyeliner precise but nevermind, my trust gel eyeliner did me proud! I could have really gone mad with this but I didn't want to ruin it so this was the finished piece.

I'm really starting to love doing this series! I've got so many ideas floating around! If there's any x-men in particular you'd like me to have a go out then please leave me a comment :)

X-Men Series...Rogue

Rogue has got to be one of the most well known x-men in the whole series. From the comics to the films, her look has changed quite a lot, however she has always has the white streak in her hair. My look is mainly based on her hair, being shown as a red/brown colour with the white streak & also the simplicity of her own make-up in the movies.

So far this isn't my favourite look from the series. I'm not going to go over board on the looks! Will try and keep the majority of them as wearable as possible!

I didn't actually realise that I didn't own a red eyeshadow!! It's so hard to find one it's unreal! However, I did have a shimmery red/brown in my sleek storm palette and I used a red eyeliner as my base, just to give the look a hit of red.
Before I did the eyeshadow, I did my eyeliner using an eye brightener from 17 and a white eyeshadow mixed with a little water. Simple!

Facial wise I didn't want to do too much because she always kept her look very simple & didn't have much colour on her cheeks or lips so I just did very simple contouring and used a lipstick a shade lighter than my natural colour.

Sorry these aren't the best photos in the world, my camera didn't like picking up the colours! This look can be very wearable, personally I would change the white eyeliner for black or brown and I'd be good to go!

NEW SERIES!

I haven't really done a series before and I really wanted to so why not! I recently joined Beautylish and I've loved all the star signs and Disney princess ones which people do so I thought I'd so something that I love!
So my series is going to be... X-MEN! Oh freakin' yes!

I love the x-men! And there are soo many characters, I don't think I'm ever going to run out of looks! However, If I do I might spread out and do some more Marvel characters. But lets wait and see...

The comics and the films see the same characters in totally different looks so where I get my inspiration from might differ. At the moment I'm gaining most of it from the films, and doing some more well known characters, then I'll spread out and do some which are a bit more unknown (they're the ones I'm most looking forward too!)
As well as make-up, I might sneak in a few nail art looks too! (like my spiderman and iron man ones!)
